In a bid to watch less television, I seem to have taken to podcasts. There are definitely some I am more drawn to than others so I thought I’d share my favourites with you. Have you listened to any of these podcasts? Let me know if you have any others you’d recommend.
The new podcast from Pandora Sykes and Dolly Alderton covers everything from the high brow to the low brow. Weekly pop culture and news highlights are discussed by these two witty eloquent women. Having previously hosted The Pandolly show together before launching The High Low podcast earlier this year. Pandora and Dolly are back and I can’t stop listening.
In the led up to the launch of Emma Gannon’s best-selling book Ctrl Alt Delete, Emma started a podcast. In the Ctrl Alt Delete podcast, Emma asks her unique and brilliant guest to share with her their life growing up online, or how the digital/ online world has changed their lives. Because in Ctrl Alt Delete ( the book) Emma documents and talks about her life growing up online, she shares other stories through her podcast. She really does interview some guest that I can’t imagine hearing on any other podcast, Emmas questions always encourage an insightful answer and her ability to keep the conversation flowing with guest others might be intimidated by is admirable. A truly insightful podcast.
Anna Gardener and Lily Pebbles both extremely talented beauty bloggers/ vloggers, after much planning. released a ten episode podcast. At Home With… sees Anna and Lily go into the homes of some of the most successful women in the creative industry. I thoroughly enjoy listening to Lily and Anna painting a visual picture of their guests home whilst finding out the secrets to their success and their beauty habits. I have included this podcast, even though it has come to an end as I am still relistening to the series I’m hoping they bring back more regular episodes.
You tubers Arden Rose and Will Derbyshire host Crash On My Couch. A weekly podcast proving that we really do live in a crazy world. From an abundance of conspiracy theories – which they’ve got me a little obsessed with now. To questions about relationships, this real life couple are navigating their way through their twenties.
Make It Happen is a motivational podcast for creatives. Jen helps you create your own set of rules to really allow your creative business to thrive. If you’re looking to create an impactful, fulfilling, and sustainable creative life then this podcast is for you. Or if you just need some guidance in how to pursue a creative idea, I’d highly recommend Make It Happen.
Let’s Discuss is brought to us by Ella Gregory and Monica Beatrice Welburn. Both very successful lifestyle blogger who have an abundance of knowledge about the industry. In Let’s Discuss, they chat about life, love, work, and well being. Covering topics such as social media and comparison or productivity and procrastination. Topics that I am strongly interested and constantly reading about, so I love hearing their opinions on the matters.
